JULIAN ADON ALEXANDER

Freshly graduated in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts, featured in I-D magazine, and part of the recent Ross Kramer Summer Group Show. Julian Adon Alexander is a visual artist who grew up living between Bloomfield, Connecticut and Brooklyn, New York.

 

He has focused his work on depicting black and brown people in candid portraits in their everyday lives. Alexander seeks to reclaim the autonomy of black and brown Americans in a world that pressures them to meet societal expectations by creating work that is empathetic and considers the subject intimately.

 

Julian Adon Alexander took part in ‘LUCKY CHARM’ a Group Exhibition of 28 International Artists. Presented by Lisa Boudet in association with Moosey Art. Opening the 4th of November 2021 at Hoxton Arches in London, United Kingdom.
